Netscape 4.x Mail Configuration

  • Begin by opening Netscape.
  • Then Click "EDIT"
  • From the pull-down menu click "Preferences".
  • The "Preferences" window will be displayed.
  • Under the CATEGORY column click the "+" plus sign next to "Mail & Groups"
  • Click "Mail Server".
  • Enter your mail server username. This is the same as the login name you chose on your signup form.
  • In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) Server box type stonemedia.com if it is blank.
  • In the Incoming mail Server box type stonemedia.com if it is blank.
  • Under the CATEGORY column Click Identity.
  • Type your name.
  • Type your email address in the "Email" box (ie. username@stonemedia.com)
  • Type the same email address in the "Reply-To address" box.
  • Click OK and you're done.
  • To begin using email, click the mailbox icon in the lower right hand corner of the Netscape window.
